The Hebrew University of Jerusalem was originally designed and constructed in 1974 by Arc. Dan Eytan, covering an area of 30,000 m².
Over time, it was expanded to meet growing academic and research needs. In 2021, an additional expansion was designed by D. Eytan / R. Lahav Architects in two phases: A & B.
Phase A added 2,200 m², followed by Phase B in 2025, contributing an additional 3,000 m².
The expansion included new wings: 5-6-7, dedicated to psychology labs and offices, as well as wings 1-2-3-4, with an addition of a green roof.
The facility now houses offices for lecturers, research centers, and spaces for doctoral and master’s students, alongside seminar rooms designed to support a collaborative academic environment.
